Spring is upon us, and new growth and renewal is all around us.
It is the season when we start to see new shoots emerge from the earth and we start to see the fruits of our earlier efforts.
For me, it is the same – new beginnings. By this I mean a change of pace and stepping into a renewed website that brings together my passions – public speaking and opening the doors for clients to step into a world of improved performance and greater self-awareness.
The Performance Masters will continue to be my registered business name, but I’ve come to understand that the work I’ve put into my practice is something I should not hide. Time to shine light on me – I realised that carrying two websites was cluttering up my practice and distracting my thinking and not serving me. I am my practice, so going forward I will build this platform.
Spring is a time to make way for the new and clear out the winter debris – I am talking about both a physical sense and a mental sense. One of the most powerful metaphors for embracing the new, is to clean out the closet and the bathroom cupboards.
Are you hanging onto items that no longer serve you or are old, out of date or have a few drops left in the bottom of the jar? If so, I would encourage you to clear them out. This may seem silly, or something that couldn’t possibly have any significance, so I am asking for you to trust that process and be open to the possibility that it may just trigger a ripple effect.
Just as you clear out old items that no longer serve you from closets, the same goes for your mind – letting go of beliefs that no longer serve you is one of the first steps to moving towards having what you do want.
Decluttering is powerful – and incredibly liberating, I’ve taken the first step and I’m inviting you to come along for the journey and see where it takes us.
